Thanks Krystle! That’s great news! I’ve actually never shopped at CRISLU. I’ve only encountered this brand through Facebook. I’m always looking for gifts or jewelry for my wife. Taking Care of your CRISLU jewelry

Love the CRISLU jewelry you just bought? Many people don’t know that they have to take special care of their jewelry in gold & platinum if it has cubic zirconia set as a stone. The stone can get dirty real fast and can actually break if hit against a hard surface. CRISLU has a few tips on how to keep your jewelry clean and safe so it will scintillate forever!

We recommend that you should always try to take off the jewelry when washing your hands or doing the dishes, or using harsh chemicals. The residue from soaps, shampoos and chemicals can leave a film on your cubic zirconia which in return will lose its shine. This residue also gets into the gold where the cubic zirconia stone is set and the whole piece of jewelry will look dull in the end. It can always be polished out but every time your jewelry is polished, it also polishes away your gold and in time your ring will be lighter in weight.

Try not to hit your CRISLU jewelry against a hard surface. You will either break the stone or break a prong, which will loosen the stone, causing it to fall out. Be gentle with your jewelry, especially if you have a center stone that sits high in the setting.

How to clean and maintain CRISLU jewelry

Now that you own a piece of CRISLU jewelry you will want the piece to sparkle and its brilliance to last forever! Just like diamonds, CRISLU jewelry needs to be cleaned to maintain its original brilliance and luster. Many variables in our surroundings can dull the shine of precious gems such as body lotion, perfume, hairspray, perspiration, or just normal everyday wear.

Depending on how often you wear them, you can use regular jewelry cleaner once every three months or you can use a home technique to keep the brilliance.

Fill a cup with luke warm water and add a dash of mild soap to it. You can also use jewelry cleaning solution. Put your CRISLU jewelry in this home-made mixture or jewelry cleaning solution for an hour. Take your jewelry out and brush it clean by using any small brushing device with soft bristles. CRISLU recommends using a toothbrush. Dry it with a clean, soft cloth.
